Elisabetta Soskić

Elisabetta Soskić is a multidisciplinary artist working across movement, adornment, and sculpture.

Her practice is shaped by wandering, observation, and a deep sensitivity to form and metal — drawn by a quiet pull toward remote villages and ancestral places that speak to her.

She draws inspiration from both the everyday and the ancient, expanding the concept of body adornment as a form of armor — a tool for protection and self-expression. Her work transforms the body into a sacred space, offering a sense of security and quiet power.

The lines of belonging blur through the eye and expression of Elisabetta Soskić, who through her Serbian family name “Soskić” honors the essence of her origin while allowing herself to expand her horizons both in physical and non-physical sense. Through her wandering and inherent fascination towards the tribal ways her creative path with movement, tattoos, adornments and other forms of art has unfolded in the most natural manner and led her to “evolve tradition” through her lens letting all exist within the same body, as one wouldn’t be without the others.

With her travels, she captures the essence of what already exists, as everything is already in perfect harmony. A journey that emphasizes the interconnectedness and beauty of different cultures and environments.

From the adornments in her body from a young age, until her creations, Elisabetta expands the concept of body adornment as a form of armor for protection and self-expression, transforming the body into a sacred space, while also providing a sense of security and empowerment.

Through her many forms of expression she reminds us that art is more than a mere decoration but also a reflection of something beyond the tangible. Soskić walks a path through the perceived time and space bridging the past and future with her timeless presence.
