A journey through Rajasthan, India, where Elisabetta follows the ancestral echoes of the Roma people — often referred to as Gypsies — connecting threads between their origins and the women of the Thar Desert.

This ongoing research is both personal and collective. Through travel, observation, and presence, she seeks not only to understand, but to feel what history cannot always name.

The jewelry worn by the women, seemed as if it had always belonged there — waiting for the right hands, the right bodies, to find it.
In this meeting, the pieces revealed something more: not just adornment, but recognition.

A JOURNEY THROUGH RAJASTHAN, INDIA, WHERE ELISABETTA FOLLOWS THE ANCESTRAL ECHOES OF THE ROMA PEOPLE — OFTEN REFERRED TO AS GYPSIES — CONNECTING THREADS BETWEEN THEIR ORIGINS AND THE WOMEN OF THE THAR DESERT.

THIS ONGOING RESEARCH IS BOTH PERSONAL AND COLLECTIVE. THROUGH TRAVEL, OBSERVATION, AND PRESENCE, SHE SEEKS NOT ONLY TO UNDERSTAND, BUT TO FEEL WHAT HISTORY CANNOT ALWAYS NAME.
